It’s no secret that at Big Communications, we love Birmingham.  From the Birmingham “IN” campaign to the Birmingham Business Alliance “Open” campaign, our creatives throw their hearts into highlighting what’s great about our city.

Yesterday, the Birmingham Design Review Committee approved a proposed rebranding campaign for the 2nd Avenue District (between 25th and 21st streets), developed by Big Art Director Shannon Broom Harris.  The proposed campaign includes branded street signs, bike racks and benches that were designed to distinguish the area as a “micro-neighborhood.”  It’s all about celebrating the creative energy of the area and attracting more people downtown.

The project was featured in today’s Birmingham News, and in the coming weeks and months, you will hear how you can help make this vision become a reality.  Stay tuned!
