We didn’t know at the time, of course. We had no way of knowing.

But everyone at the Boutwell Auditorium the night of Wednesday, December 1, 1993 saw something incredibly special: Nirvana, live, in what would be one of their final U.S. tour dates.

Our president, John Montgomery, was in attendance. So were thousands of others from the Magic City, eagerly gathered on a cold night to see one of the biggest and most influential bands in the world.

Today marks the 21st anniversary of that legendary show, and we here at Big wanted to celebrate the occasion with some original artwork and a commemorative playlist.
