In the middle of Birmingham’s emerging craft beer scene, TrimTab Brewing Co. contacted us to help set them apart. We started by examining their name. A trim tab is a small piece of a ship’s rudder or an airplane’s wing that helps to change direction. Architect Buckminster Fuller used this term to explain that an individual has the power to affect great change. Fuller’s philosophies guide the brewery’s practices.
