We’ve made a lot of good friends at the beach thanks to our Alabama Gulf Seafood campaign. And when the owners of The Hangout were developing a new seaside restaurant concept, we were the clear choice to bring the brand to life. With a name as simple, iconic, and bold as “The Gulf,” we knew it needed a brand to match. The logo features Poseidon’s trident, one of the oldest and most universally recognized symbols of the sea’s bounty, and a patina that recalls years of weathering the ocean’s salty spray. And before you ask: yes, it all happened before it was cool to put everything on the side of a shipping container.
