The end/beginning of every year is a stressful but invigorating time for us.

Scrambling through a full year of work is a hefty task, and one that results in plenty of overtime hours for our selection committee.

But it’s also a time of reflection. It’s pretty thrilling to comb through the work your team produced over the last year—to sit back and soak it all in, knowing how much hard work went into each piece and how many hands were involved. It’s an opportunity to be thankful for where you are, who you’re with, and what’s in store.

And if you win a few awards for that work? Well, that’s pretty cool, too.

This past Friday night, our team enjoyed a wonderful evening at Old Car Heaven for the 2015 Birmingham ADDYs, presented by the Birmingham chapter of the American Advertising Federation. And we were humbled and overjoyed to walk away with some hardware.

For the third straight year, we took home Best of Show, this time for our work with the Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute (code name: Go Build Alabama). Our ACRI campaign also won Best of Show – Digital for our fully interactive Go Build Training Manual ebook, which was made possible by a generous grant from the Alabama Power Foundation.
