It’s a little-known fact, but a tremendous source of local pride, that Veterans Day was founded in our hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. Awareness and attendance for the annual Veterans Day Parade had waned considerably over the years, but in 2013 we launched an initiative for the National Veterans Day organization that helped restore the holiday and parade to its former glory. The turnout was huge, spirits were high, and the event grew bigger and better with each year.

Now, four years later, we’ve introduced a rebranding of our original efforts to continue renewing the energy and spirit in one of Birmingham’s greatest institutions.
