Big’s creative talent was honored at the recent 2023 Birmingham Advertising Federation’s 65th Annual American Advertising Awards ceremony held Friday, Feb. 24, at Red Mountain Theatre. The Big team took home a total of 13 ADDY awards — including a top in category.

Renowned Birmingham photographer and campaign partner Liesa Cole was named the 2022 Photographer of the Year for her work with Big’s Total on 1st brand campaign. Launched in May 2022, the campaign featured photography evoking a feeling of immersion and losing oneself in natural environments and was the first step in establishing Total on 1st as Birmingham’s premiere spa destination.

Big’s photography also earned a Gold ADDY for Total on 1st, as well as a Gold for UAB Callahan Eye. Other work honored at the annual event included Alabama Gulf Seafood, Alabama Power, All In Alabama, Centennial, Google Fiber and IMPETUS. Additionally, Big’s internal artificial intelligence holiday card generator earned an ADDY nod.
